How will I receive my refund?
Refunds are made by direct deposit or by a check mailed to your local address to students who are registered, don't have holds on their accounts, and whose disbursed aid exceeds their MSU charges.
When will I receive my refund?
Refunds are distributed by the Student Accounts division of the Controller's Office beginning ten days prior to the start of a semester (or for summer semester, ten days prior to YOUR first class day). Refer to the MSU academic calendar or the class schedule to look up the first day of class for each semester or summer subterm.
How can I check my refund status?
You may check your refund status in StuInfo. While there, you should also check your financial aid status to be sure that you've taken all necessary steps for your aid to be disbursed.
How do I sign up for direct deposit?
You may complete a direct deposit authorization form on the Controller's Office website.
