Loan Fee Increases

The origination fees for federal loans have increased due to the budget sequestration in 2013. This change impacts new loans that are first disbursed on or after October 1st, 2014. The origination fee for Stafford (Direct) Subsidized and Unsubsidized loans has increased from 1.072% to 1.073%. The origination fee for Parent PLUS and Grad PLUS loans has increased from 4.288% to 4.292%.
